New motherboards featuring Intel's revised "B3 stepping" P67 chipset have started shipping, they're available from Newegg and other online retailers.
The B2 stepping chipset had a flaw in the sata controllers that led to a performance degredation over time, and rather then try to cover up the flaw Intel publisized it and recalled all the chipsets and motherboards, paying out something along the lines of a billion dollars to motherboard manufacturers and users!
That took one of their most successful and profitable launches in history and turned it into rather of a money hole, but given the performance of the SandyBridge chips I'm sure Intel will recover just fine.
