I thought Alienware PCs were Cool … Not so!

I was wondering around the Golden Computer Center in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong – the Mecca of all things tech! … when I can across a Dell authorised reseller. A super wide 34″ monitor grabbed my attention, so I thought OK … let’s check it out.

 

 

 The monitor was cool … it’s a super wide curved IPS screen at 34″ with a resolution of 3440×1440 (21:9) Wow!. Next, I couldn’t notice something at the corner of my eye … it was an Alienware Area-51 Gaming PC. Prices start from HKD $21,999 (or USD $2,900) all the way upto HKD $69,999 (or USD $9,000) … WTF?!

 

Tech Specs on the $69K model:

  • Intel Core i7-5960X @ 4GHz
  • 32GB DDR4 2133MHz ram
  • 512GB SSD + 4TB HDD
  • DUAL Geforce GTX Titan X (24GB)
  • Dual LAN/Wifi
  • 7.1 Surround Sound
  • Sh!t loads of USB connectors
  • Windows 8.1 64-bit of course
  • and 3 years warranty …

 

This beast my be the dog’s b@llocks … but sorry, it’s way to ugly for me … any takers?
