Computex 2019 – Day 1: Asus, Adata, ASRock, MSI, Thermaltake and Zotac

Yes it’s that time of the year when our Team Funk Kit travels to Taipei to bring you an exclusive event coverage of Computex 2019. In Day 1, we cover popular brands such as Asus, Adata, ASRock, MSI, Supermicro, Thermaltake and Zotac. Lets’s see what’s in store for us …

Computex is Asia’s biggest IT expo and exhibition, and it’s held in Taipei, Taiwan attracting more than 130,000 visitors every year. All the big names will be there including Intel, AMD, Microsoft and many more.

Here’s a little blurb taken from their website …

Established in 1981, COMPUTEX has witnessed the development and evolution of the global ICT industry for over thirty years. As ICT moves from traditional PCs toward the Internet of Things, COMPUTEX is also rebranding itself to maintain its position as the indexical B2B show in the Asian-Pacific market with the advantages of Taiwan’s complete ICT supplier chain. With Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems as its new positioning from 2016, COMPUTEX aims to solidify its standing as a platform for releasing new products and technologies and for global ICT purchasing.”

At this year’s Computex, it seem a little quiet than usual … probably because they opened Nangang Hall 2, so the the whole event was a little more spread, out leaving lots of room for us media to do our thing 😉

The main announcement for this year’s Computex of course was AMD’s 7nm Zen 2 – Ryzen 3000 series, X570 chipset motherboards and Radeon Navi graphics card. All of which will be released later this year at the end of Q2 and beginning of Q3.

Watercooling seem to be the big thing for 2019, with many manufacturers showcasing their AIO (all-in-one) liquid/watercooling solutions. And of course, the event wouldn’t be an event without lots of RGB!

Let’s kick off the Computex 2019 event coverage with some booth visits at Asus and Adata …
