Activision Sued For Using Humvee Vehicles In CoD

Hahaha … probably the funniest news of the day.

Call of Duty publisher Activision is facing a lawsuit from Humvee manufacturer AM General due to the unauthorized use of Humvees in multiple games, albeit not the latest, Call of Duty: WW2. AM General believes the company has improperly benefited from its use of those vehicles. Why it’s filed the suit after the release of multiple games lacking the vehicles isn’t clear.

According to the lawsuit, the success of the franchise has come “only at the expense of AM General and consumers who are deceived into believing that AM General licenses the games or is somehow connected with or involved in the creation of the games.” Call of Duty began using Humvees in 2007 with Modern Warfare.
