Details of the first Overwatch League season were shared at BlizzCon this week. Blizzard announced tickets will go on sale November 6, with the first match scheduled for January 10. Each of the twelve teams is going to play twice per week. Four days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) will feature three matches each. The start times are varied so that global viewers have a chance to enjoy the content.
Those teams will be competing to enter the playoffs, which begin on July 11.
Four stages make up the season, with each lasting five weeks.
