Winter is creeping upon us quickly, which is great news since it means that the DreamHack Winter 2013 games are closer. With a total prize money of $50,000, this year’s DreamHack is sure to be one for the ages!

The wait is over, but the war’s only just begun. Having qualified from the tightly-contested Dota 2 DreamLeague, Alliance, Team Liquid, Fnatic and Na’Vi have made it to the play-offs, which will take place at this year’s DreamHack Winter from the 28th of November to the 1st of December. In their bid to win their share of the staggering $50,000 in prize money, the teams in question will duke it out in a double-elimination competition. If plying their trade amidst a sea of 10,000 attendees weren’t enough, every minute of the guaranteed 25+ hours of action will be broadcast live on TV6 and TV6 Play in Sweden, on Twitch worldwide, and on jumbo screens inside the arena itself. As ever, ROCCAT will be on site to showcase its latest innovations. This year we’re teaming up with Ubisoft, with their booth offering first-hand testing of ROCCAT gear as well as product give-aways. The newest ROCCAT peripherals will also be on sale in the DreamStore. Let the games begin!
