Project Vertical PC Build – Full Build Log and Video

The Finish Item

The main theme of this build is the Vertical Open Chassis … which is I think really makes this whole system stand out. The ASRock Z690 Taichi motherboard is the real star of the show, and that’s powered by an Intel Core i9-12900KF processor, along with 32GB of Adata Lancer RGB DDR5-6000 memory. There’s also an Adata Legend 840 PCIE Gen4 1TB SSD and ASRock Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics card. All this is powered by the mighty impressive Thermaltake ToughPower PF1 ARGB 1050W power supply with modular cables. I thought my cable management was OK … I did do my best with tidying the power cables lol 😀

The CPU is cooled by a Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux, fitted with Thermaltake Riing Quad 12 Fans, and it did an adequate of cooling the CPU. The RGB lighting throughout the whole system is bright, mesmerizing and really attracts attention. I love the way the Taichi logo (clock/cog) actually moves on the I/O hood of the motherboard.

We hope you enjoyed our Project Vertical PC build … and we thank you for joining us in our journey from start to finish. And of course … a BIG thank you to our sponsors ASRock, ADATA, Cooler Master, Thermaltake and XPG.
