CES 2021 Cancelled – Going All-Digital

It’s an extremely sad note to see CES 2021 cancelled due to Covid-19. Chris (our chief US reviewer) and I went to CES 2020 this year, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was good to catch up with old friends and meet all our sponsors in person. That said, everyone’s health is more important, and its understandable for the event organisers to make the necessary steps, to curb the spread of the disease.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® is reimagining how to connect exhibitors, customers, thought leaders and media from around the world while prioritizing health and safety. Today, we’re excited to announce that CES® 2021 will be an all-digital experience.

For more than 50 years, CES has been the global stage for innovation. And CES 2021 will continue to be a platform to launch products, engage with global brands and define the future of the tech industry.

With the growing global health concerns about the spread of COVID-19, it is not possible to safely convene tens of thousands of people in Las Vegas in early January 2021 to meet and do business in person.

An all-digital CES 2021 will allow the entire tech community to safely share ideas and introduce the products that will shape our future. As a media attendee, you’ll be able to participate in all the awe-inspiring moments of CES wherever you are the in world. We are designing a unique experience for the tech industry.

CES 2021 will offer a highly personalized experience for media:

  • Media events. Hear from the world’s leading brands at exclusive digital press events.
  • Product showcase. Explore products and services, based on your specific beat and interests, through dynamic product showcases and live demos.
  • Keynotes and conferences. Enjoy a front-row seat for groundbreaking announcements and insights from the world’s tech leaders.
  • Meetings and networking. Engage with the brands and thought leaders your audience cares about.

Technology has helped us all work, learn and connect during the coronavirus pandemic, and it has presented real solutions to help solve complex global challenges. We recognize that, particularly in these uncertain times, it is the partnerships of some of the most creative minds that bring the best solutions to life.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the global tech industry to kick off the year with the world’s most influential digital technology event.

Mark your calendars and get ready for an all-new CES coming in January. Please stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you in person at CES 2022.
