EK Launches Reflection² Distribution Plate With an Integrated Screen for Lian Li O11D XL Case

EK, the premium water-cooling gear manufacturer, is launching a new distro plate for the Lian Li O11D XL chassis. The distro has a built-in EK-Quantum Lumen screen, a 7″ IPS monitor that can be seen from the front of the case. It is designed to provide advanced water cooling with the latest 3rd-generation SATA-powered D5 pump, removing the need for additional 4-pin Molex cables. The Reflection² series distribution plates are EK-Matrix7 compliant.

The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D XL D5 PWM D-RGB – Screen Edition is a custom water-cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that seamlessly fits into the front of the case showing off a beautiful 7″ IPS screen with an aluminum frame. This waterway is also equipped with six innovative push-in ports that come with female G1/4″ threaded adapters. The idea is that users can easily assemble the whole radiator + fittings + tubing combo and use these push-in adapters to simply slide it into the distribution plate. The bottom radiator is mounted via a special metal bracket.

Designed to offer unique aesthetics and ease of use, this advanced all-in-one waterway solution includes a pump, screen, reservoir, simple mounting mechanism, and multiple industry-standard G1/4″ threaded inlets and outlets. The positioning of these inlets and outlets is aligned to match other EK products, minimizing the number of bends the user has to make when creating a water-cooling loop. The distro plate supports the following five components – one CPU water block, one GPU water block, and three radiators.

With the distribution plate installed, the maximum radiator sizes for each position are the following:

  • Top: EK-Quantum Surface P360
  • Bottom: EK-Quantum Surface X360
  • Side: EK-Quantum Surface P360

Engineered to be mounted on the front window of the O11D XL case, the EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D XL D5 PWM D-RGB – Screen Edition fits elegantly within the popular Lian Li O11D XL chassis. The front shows off a beautiful 7″ screen that can display anything a user wants as it acts as a secondary monitor. The Lumen screen has a wide SVGA resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 7-inch diagonal, and the IPS panel type for superior viewing angles and vivid colors. The connection to the PC is made through an HDMI 2.0 cable included in the package and an internal Type-A USB 2.0 port. The frame of the Lumen screen is CNC-machined out of a single large chunk of 20mm-thick aluminum, 195mm long and 115mm wide.

The addressable D-RGB LED strip runs down the entire length of the unit, while an anodized black aluminum cover hides the unwanted LED hotspots. The built-in addressable LED strip connects to the motherboard’s 5V header or a dedicated D-RGB controller. It is also compatible with MSI Mystic Light SYNC, ASRock Polychrome SYNC, ASUS AURA SYNC, and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2 software for a coordinated lighting effect.

This water distribution plate comes with a powerful yet silent PWM-controlled D5 pump. The goal was to make a product with enough power to offer excellent reliability and outstanding performance with multiple blocks and radiators while keeping the noise down to a minimum. The D5 pump has been updated with the latest G3 (Generation 3) variant and comes with a SATA power connector, following the latest PC industry trend to decrease the use of 4-pin Molex cables.

The EK-Matrix7 Compliance
EK-Matrix7 standardizes the products’ dimensions, including the port position and spacing, making liquid cooling loop assembly easier and more intuitive than ever. EK-Quantum Reflection² distribution plates follow the EK-Matrix7 standard, enabling them to seamlessly integrate with the Vector² GPU water blocks, active backplates, and Quantum Surface radiators. This means the user will spend less time planning the loop and bending the tubes, resulting in an epic water-cooled build.

EK-QUANTUM TORQUE PUSH-IN ADAPTER M 14
This male push-in adapter fitting has a standard G1/4 male thread with an O-ring at one end, a knurled midsection, and a male push-in part with two O-rings at the other end. It is pushed directly into the distro plate without the need to be screwed in. It is available in 5 finishes – Black, Nickel, Black Nickel, Satin Titanium, and Gold.

This adapter simplifies the process of attaching a radiator to the Reflection² distribution plate and reduces the strain needed to screw in the fittings, adding convenience and ease of use.
