CD Projekt RED have been Hacked

CD Projekt RED have been hacked, the company announced this morning. The hackers left a ransom note claiming to have stolen source codes for Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Gwent and unannounced version of Witcher 3. They also claim to have stolen documents relating to accounting, administration, legal, HR and more. The hackers say they will leak all the documents and source codes if no agreement is reached.

The company have said they will not give in to the ransom and have approached the relevant authorities. In the statement, they believe the compromised systems did not contain any personal data.

The company isn’t having much luck recently, which is busy fixing the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 after releasing it in a poor state.
