Steam have unveiled the best games of 2020 awards. The Awards consist of 6 categories, top sellers, top new releases, top VR games, top early access, most played games and top controller games.
Lets start with top sellers. The games which have received the top platinum award are Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Among US, Fall Guys, Monster Hunter World, PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, Red Dead Redemption 2, Doom Eternal, Destiny 2, CS:GO and GTA 5. The most surprising is Cyberpunk 2077, despite all the issues with the game, it’s made it into the top 12 best selling games.
The top new releases which have received platinum include Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, Baldur’s Gate 3, Football Manager 2021, Persona 4 Golden, Dragon Ball Z: KAKAROT, Walcen: Lords of Mayhem, Fall Guys, Cyberpunk 2077, Star Wars: Squadron and a lot more.
The most played games which have received platinum include Monster Hunter World, PUBG, Life is Strange 2, Mount & Blade 2, Destiny 2, Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA 5, Terraria, Among Us and CS:GO.
The top early access which have received platinum include Squad, Torchlight 3, Factorio, Noita, Deep Rock Galactic, DJMAX RESPECT V, Hades, Risk of Rain 2, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, Skater XL and Gold With Your Friends.
The top VR games which received platinum include Arizona Sunshine, Pavlov VR, Pistol Whip, Blade and Sorcery, VR Kanojo, Superhot VR, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Beat Saber, Half Life: Alyx, Skyrim VR, Boneworks and Hotdogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades.
The top controller games which received platinum include Fifa 21, Hades, Dragon Ball Z: KAKAROT, Dark Souls 3, NBA 2K20, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, GTA V, Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, Cyberpunk 2077, Persona 4 Golden and Fall Guys.
