AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Can Beat Intel Core i9-10900K

in Passmark Single-thread Benchmark

F-Me! Wow, that’s great news for AMD and even better news for consumers, especially AMD fans out there. I knew AMD would do it one day, and now they have!  It took many years, but an AMD processor has finally beaten Intel in single-threaded benchmark for their mainstream desktop processors.

Taken from VideoCardz … The Ryzen 5 5600X is the upcoming Zen3 CPU featuring 6 cores and 12 threads. With a 200 MHz higher boost clock and Zen3 architecture improvements this processor is expected to offer 19% better performance per dollar than Intel Core i5-10600K in single-threaded benchmarks, according to AMD.
