BIOSTAR, a global leader in motherboards, graphics adapters and much more, has recently announced extra support for its Intel 8 Series motherboards by releasing updated BIOS to support the upcoming 4th generation Intel Core processors.
March 3rd, 2014, Taipei, Taiwan – BIOSTAR has prepared to take full advantage of the Intel 4th generation Haswell refresh CPUs. BIOSTAR models based on the Z87, H87, B85, H81 chipset series will feature Intel single chip architecture with HD 4600 Graphics, along with a new integrated memory controller that will run at speeds up to 1600MHz.
The newest desktop-based quad-core processors CPUs promise big leaps in performance and, being Intel-based boards, they also feature Intel Rapid Start Technology and Intel Smart Connect Technology.
The boards feature the latest BIOSTAR technologies such as BIOS Flasher and BIOS Online Update for easy updating and restoration of the BIOS, as well as BIO-Remote2 for remote control of the system via Android and Apple devices.
