Curse & Cooler Master Agree to 2-year Extension on Team Sponsorship

Today is a perfect day to get that e-sports team together to enter into the hottest competitive gaming tournaments in the world. Not to mention you could land some sweet sponsorships as did Team Curse with Cooler Master.

Los Angeles, CA – Today Team Curse and Cooler Master are excited to announce that they’ve reached an agreement that extends Cooler Master’s team sponsorship through the 2015 LCS season. The agreement continues on with Cooler Master as the official sponsor of team Curse’s peripherals (mouse, keyboards, and headsets) and add additional investment as their sponsor for computer hardware and mobile accessories.

“This is obviously a great result for Curse and eSports in general” said Steve Arhancet, Director of eSports for Curse. “We have had such a successful and supportive year with Cooler Master. Signing for two more years just felt right.”

The deal, extending through January 2016, provides focused investment in our League of Legends teams in North America, with plans for expansion into additional markets.

“Curse is a global brand” said Nathan Lindberg, Vice-President of Sales at Curse. “To have a global partner like Cooler Master makes it possible for us to invest in growing our brand together (with eSports teams) outside of the US is a powerful partnership we are enthusiastic about continuing.”

Our partnership with Curse has helped us establish our brand as one of the best names in eSports. By expanding and extending our original agreement, we’re firmly stating that we remain committed to providing professional peripherals for eSports and all gamers,” said Bryant Nguyen, Business Development Director for Cooler Master USA.

Starting this week, Curse reenters the LCS after qualifying in the LCS relegation matches that took place in December. The team features a revamped roster with team standout Joey “VoyBoy” Esfahani moving to mid-land, he is replaced in top lane by Diego “Quas” Ruiz. Christian “IWillDominate” Riveria rejoins the LCS as the jungler, along with George “Zekent” Liu on support. David “Cop” Roberson returns as the starting ADC, with Brandon “SaintVicious” DiMarco moving to the role of coach for the team.
