Our good friends over at HardOCP have published a review on the Seasonic PRIME 1000W Gold Power Supply. They really like it … and so do I!
Seems like yesterday that we would never need a 1000 watt power supply again, but maybe Seasonic knew something we did not. This 1000W monster has some new tricks up its sleeve internally, but let’s see if this all makes for a better, more efficient high end computer PSU. Spoiler: This is “the best” 1000w PSU we have ever reviewed.
… the PRIME 1000W Gold does anything but perform like the lowest tier product as it gave us outstanding build quality and design, simply AMAZING voltage regulation, excellent DC Output Quality, and excellent Transient Load Test results. Overall, this was simply the BEST 1000W unit we have seen to date and it is from Seasonic’s “third” string of PRIME units!
