Apple Will Ship iPhone 7S First, Before iPhone 8

Because of production difficulties, Apple reportedly won’t ship the iPhone 8 until after the iPhone 7s becomes available. It’s going to reveal three new handsets, including the iPhone 8, next week. Yet a release won’t be possible for some time.

TechCrunch claims the highest-end iPhone isn’t going to ship until “a later time” this year. While the iPhone 7s will go up for preorder on September 15 and shipments will begin September 22. No exact release info for the iPhone 8 was mentioned.

Some recent reports indicate Apple encountered a one month production delay with the phone due to problems integrating Touch ID into its OLED panel.
