Meizu A5 Launched Costs Around USD $100

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has added a new member to its A series of smartphones. Called Meizu A5, the smartphone is now available in China in black, gold and silver color options, with a price tag of CNY 699, which translates into around $100.

It sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6737 system on a chip, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 3,060 mAh battery.

The rest of the specs include an 8-megapixel camera in the rear with LED flash, a 5-megapixel snapper on the front, 4G/LTE along with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/A-GPS support.
