Early rumours claim that Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship chipset would first launch with Xiaomi Mi 7 or Galaxy Note 9, but it seems those rumours were not true. According to latest information, the first smartphones to get new Snapdragon 845 chipset will be Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
This is also in line with yesterday’s information that Samsung will once again have first dibs at the chipset, meaning other phones with Snapdragon 845 will be late. The same thing happened with Snapdragon 835, forcing LG to use the older Snapdragon 821 in its G6.
