Ryzen 3000 appeared at dealer in Singapore, 16-core Ryzen 9 3850X costs $560

Looks like the up and coming Ryzen 3000 series is going kick some ass!

A dealer in Singapore has listed all Ryzen 3000 CPUs in the current catalogue including prices. A Ryzen 9 3850X for about $560 is named as the top model.

AMD is launching a new generation of Ryzen processors this year. For the first time, the processors are based on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture, which has a 7nm structure width. The company not only wants to make the processors significantly faster again, but also to install more cores. The top model Ryzen 9 3850X is supposed to have 16 physical cores and clock speeds of up to 5.1 GHz. Already in December 2018 the YouTuber AdoredTV leaked the whole lineup, which is more and more in the spotlight. Some Russian shops had already listed processors of the Ryzen 3000 series. At CES 2019, AMD was not very clear about details, but afterwards confirmed to media representatives that more than 8 cores are definitely planned.

AMD has thus succeeded in focusing strongly on the new processors months before their actual market launch. With leaks and information appetizers the interest and the media hype do not stop. It is also suitable that the processors have appeared at a retailer in Singapore who is known to more or less unintentionally list products before they are published.

Ryzen 3000 appeared again at retailer

It is quite normal for retailers to receive information on upcoming products before a launch. However, usually it is weeks before the start of sales. The retailer Bizgram already attracted attention in the past with listings of not yet published products. In September 2018, prices for the i9-9900K also appeared in the Bizgram product catalogue. The current catalogue, which was published on February 28, 2019, already contains the entire leaked lineup of Ryzen 3000 processors. The company also lists the new Ryzen 9 series with Ryzen 9 3800X and Ryzen 9 3850X, which are known to feature 16 cores and clock rates up to 5.1 GHz.

Another interesting point are the prices mentioned. So all processors are also provided with prices. The Ryzen 9 3850X is listed for 760 Singapore dollars, which is equivalent to 560 US dollars. According to the list, the Ryzen 9 3800X costs 684 Singapore dollars or 505 US dollars, the Ryzen 7 3700X costs 501 Singapore dollars/370 US dollars. The prices are a lot higher than the leaked prices of AdoredTV, but Bizgram often lists higher prices for unpublished products.
