Samsung Galaxy S9 may not have front finger print sensor under in it’s screen

After Samsung moved the fingerprint sensor from the front of their phones to the rear next to the camera in favor of a larger screen many users complained that the new placement of the sensor was uncomfortable and hard to reach.

It was originally leaked that the next iteration of Samsung’s Galaxy S line would bring the fingerprint sensor back to the front of the device through a imbedded sensor under the screen but new reports claim this may not be the case anymore after Samsung filed a patent for a notch like sensor similar to Apple’s iPhone X but at the bottom of the screen.
