Performance

The testing of the PowerMini 3000 was done using a Galaxy S5 as the device being charged. To achieve testing in sequential order in a row I used the Galaxy on heavy use to run the battery down. The expected charges available for you device depends on your battery size this power bank is rated to 3000 mAh. The average battery size of a cell phone is roughly 2800 mAh. So we should expect a fully charge out of one cycle.

Time taken to charge device at 15% battery life

1 hour 18 minutes.

The PowerMini took an estimated 8 hours to fully recharge. Once recharged I let it sit on my desk for a solid week and the LED indicators still lit up full charge no loss in a week from no use. The heat generated by the power bank while charging a device is a little on the hot side. The device did get warm while charging the Galaxy S5. While recharging the power bank I did not notice the heat build as the recharge was done at a much slower rate.

There we have it! The PowerMini 3000 Power Bank brought to us by HisGadget! Let us cover a few final thoughts and conclusion of our review.
