Antec DF700 Flux Mid Tower Chassis Review

Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Antec DF700 Flux. Recently we have noticed a huge influx of cases offering some really good cooling capabilities. And a lot of the cases are coming with a handful of fans that could easily run half the price of the entire case if you were to buy the fans individually. This is not surprising due to the new hardware we are seeing. If you are one of the lucky ones to get your hands on a new Ampere card then you know they are huge sources of heat. On top of that the newest processors are becoming hotter and hotter. With all this heat the worst thing you could do is trap all that heat inside of a cube with out an exhaust. That kind of heat will prematurely degrade your components. The best thing you can do is find a well ventilated case. This can be a double edged sword though. The more air you move the more dust you are going accumulate. So be sure they have a dust filter, that will make your life way more pleasant!

Antec has seen the need for extreme air flow and has a series of cases featuring, what they are calling the F-Lux Platform. This is their original concept on a cooling solution. The solution consists of a lot of ventilation and 5 included fans. We covered the DF600 a while back and it also had the same cooling solution, just in a different style of case. As of right now there appears to be a total of 5 different cases with this cooling solution. Basically anything with the name Flux in the title is going to have this type of cooling. If you are concerned about the heat in your case or are like me and believe the cooler you keep your hardware the better it will operate, then this is cooling you want to have, scratch that this is the cooling you need to get.

DF700 Flux is equipped with the F-LUX Platform. The F-LUX Platform is a new industry-leading and highly efficient design by Antec featuring an advanced case structure for excellent airflow and 5 x 120 mm fans included. A core element of the design ethos was to enhance GPU cooling performance.
