Cooler Master COSMOS C700P Full Tower Chassis Review

Verdict and Conclusion

Cooler Master has really upped their game this year with the monstrous Comos C700P. The whole chassis speaks quality … from the solid construction to the included features. The layout is highly flexible and detachable, allowing you to remove the front and rear panels, as well as the internal HDD/ODD cage. This is ideal if you want to install a large radiator, up to a 420mm for the front and 360mm for the top. PSU and HD/ODD cover is a nice added bonus, and they’re also removable depending on your tastes.

I particularly like the solid Aluminum handles, which makes it easier for users to pick up and move the system around. I also like the accessible front panel I/O controls, as well as the embedded RGB strips within the chassis.

One of the selling points of the Comos C700P of course is the dual curved tempered glass. It makes the whole chassis look sleek and amazingly sexy! Do be careful when you start building your system. I highly recommend you remove BOTH tempered glass panels before you start.

You’ll find plenty of space within the chassis. It’s suitable for all motherboard sizes including ITX, MATX, ATX, and all the way up to the massive full-size E-ATX. We fitted the Asus ROG Maximus X Hero motherboard (ATX size), along with an EVGA CLC 280 AIO cooler (280mm radiator), and a Zotac GeForce GTX graphics card (full length card) to see if all the components fitted nicely. It did … and there was still plenty of room.

I was quite surprised when Cooler Master told me that the price of the Cosmos C700P was only USD $299. In comparison the Cosmos II 25th anniversary costs $350, which is based on the previous generation Cosmos II.

You can buy the Cooler Master COSMOS C700P Full Tower Chassis for USD $299 from the following e-tailers …
