Cooler Master Masterbox NR200P MAX Chassis Review (inc. 850W SFX PSU)

The Box and Packaging

The size of the box is what you would expect from Mini-ITX chassis. It’s heavier than usual due to the included 850W SFX power supply and the buil-in 280mm AIO cooler. You also get a separate box containing the tempered glass side panel.

The accessories box contains all the necessory screws and CPU mounting brackets for the chassis. You’ll alos find a mini PCIE 4.0 rise cable for mounting a graphics card vertically. There’s also a power cord for the wall, a spare SATA power and a molex cables.

Exterior

The front of the chassis is pretty plain but comes with Cooler Master’s distinctive logo that lights up when powered on.

On the top of the chassis, you’ll find 2 USB ports a reset button, a power-on button and a 3.5mm headphone/headset jack. The 3-pin power connector (for the wall) is located on the bottom left at the rear of the chassis.

Interior

As you can see from the photos, the chassis is very compact. It is only suitable for a Mini-ITX motherboard. Both side panels can be removed and comes with a magnetic dust guard.

The first thing that really stands out is the included 280mm AIO cooler. The radiator is located at the top and is mounted with 2 x 140mm cooling fans. Next. you’ll find a compact CPU waterblock with a copper base and it’s suitable for both Intel and AMD processors. Just use the correct CPU mounting backets that comes with the package.

And finally, the star of the show … it’s the 850W Gold SFX power supply. It’s fully modular and comes with some nice braided modular cables. Just the SFX power supply on its own cost an eye-popping USD $160! – https://amzn.to/3WdvSTa
