After spending multiple hours building the test PC, I can say it was a lot of fun, thanks to the DA2 V2 chassis. The DA2 V2 is one of the not many products, if not the only one, which gives a chance to pick so various components and adjust their placement. Especially cooling options are extensive.
The DA2 V2 is for sure a top-quality chassis. I don’t remember many products which were close to their quality. Everything from the package to the exterior sanded aluminum finish is well-designed. This is a product that clearly tells that every detail counts—everything for the most demanding users.
I was able to install high wattage components inside the still quite small ITX chassis what is already satisfying. Even better when temperatures inside the DA2 V2 were low enough to keep everything significantly below the throttling point. The DA2 V2 is clearly a great base for your exceptional yet small gaming PC.
The black version of the Streacom DA2 V2 chassis costs around €259 in the Amazon DE store. You can have a problem finding it in smaller stores as it’s an enthusiast-grade product, so don’t count that every PC hardware store will offer it. The price isn’t low, but if we compare it to the competition and check how much it has to offer, it looks pretty reasonable. I must admit that before the review, I would say it’s too expensive. After I spent a couple of hours building the test PC, I can say it’s worth spending that money.
