Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Verdict and Conclusion

What can I say about the Armor Revo Gene?  It looks great.

Really, it’s almost like if you took the core of a Soprano, made it transparent, and added a few aesthetic touches to it.

That doesn’t mean it’s a worse case.  I really think the design and look really complement the theme of high-power gaming and modding, so it does work for it.

That being said, it doesn’t have a whole lot more to offer than the Soprano other than aesthetics and coming in at around $135.00 USD, you’re really paying more for the looks.

If you’re into that, then I really couldn’t fault you for purchasing it.

Here are the pros:

  • Spacious.
  • Very easy hardware installation.
  • Top HDD slot for easy transferal of files.
  • Fantastic look.

And the cons:

  • A little pricey.

Final Words. So, the Armor Revo.  Would I recommend it?  Yes and no.  As I said, you will be paying more purely for looks, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.  It really does look great.  On the whole, it’s another solid case from Thermaltake with some nice touches, so I’d say it’s a decent purchase, and I can’t wait to see how the next one does.
