Thermaltake Chaser A41 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Photos Part Two: The Case

This time the front panel isn’t all covers, there’s actually room for an SSD slot and a lovely, shiny bevel.  Just be careful not to touch the bevel part; it smudges easily.

The A41 is quite nice-looking and certainly isn’t hideous like some other cases I’ve seen in recent days.  Like the A31, you’ll get a nice transparent window so you can make sure your hardware stays in place and doesn’t run off in the middle of the night.  I have to say, I do like how they arrange the front I/O ports.  There’s a nice synchronicity in the layout that adds to overall aesthetic experience.  So props to the designers.

The A41 is a bit of an improvement over the A31 and it shows.  The ratio of disc-drive to HDD slots is more balanced.  But more importantly, the A41 is a wider case, so you don’t have to worry about using a giant heatsink.  It’s on the right track, but let’s make sure we don’t neglect the most important aspect of a case.
