Thermaltake Core X5 E-ATX Cube Chassis Review

Conclusion and Verdict

In conclusion, the Core X5 is a gigantic case just waiting to be filled. If you want to have a dedicated water cooler for you CPU, GPU heck even water cool your RAM. This Cube case has the space for 4 280mm liquid coolers. I am almost positive you could even get another one in there if you really wanted too. The Core X5 is big in size to meet the demands for extreme builds that require adequate spaces for superior cooling options. Thermaltake has a removable dust filter for every open hole on this thing. No doubt about the Core X5 being huge and giving users extreme cooling capabilities.

The Core X5 is expandable and each case has the ability to be stacked on top of each other. You also can add wheels instead of the feet. This is serious if you add wheels to you chassis. If it has wheels that means you probably need 2 guys to lift this loaded case. The solid frame and design of the Core X5 seems structurally sound and I have no doubt that it could hold plenty of weight without buckling under load.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for a case that has room for everything plus more. Look no further because the Core X5 is a gigantic case. If you divided the square inches by the price you are probably paying less per square in for this case than any other case on the market.
