Thermaltake H700 TG Mid-Tower Chassis Review

A Closer Look

Classic Design with RGB Light Bar Front Panel

With a unique RGB light bar, the front panel of H700 TG Series reveal smooth and elegant style.

Built-in PSU Cover

Come with a full-length PSU cover with a ventilated design to enhance the airflow and hide those unsightly cables.

Tempered Glass Window

The tempered-glass hinge door is designed with a smart lock security system which secures the inner components of your case. H700 TG Series are built to be more durable, scratch resistant and, of course, easy-to-use.
Superior Hardware Support

The H700 TG Series have outstanding expandability with support for a tower CPU cooler with maximum height 180mm, a dual expansion slot VGA of up to 395mm (without radiator) in length, and a power supply with length of up to 180mm (with 3.5” HDD Drive installed) and up to 220mm otherwise.

Excellent Cooling Capability

Optimized for excellent cooling capability with 120mm fans with one at the front and one at the rear preinstalled. The case is able to house up to three 140mm front fans, up to 2x 140mm fans on top, and a radiator size up to 360mm on top to allow users to build a desired high-end system.

Handy I/O Ports

One 3.0 and two 2.0 USB ports on top-front panel to grant direct access when needed. A specially designed RGB control button provides users plenty 19 light effect selection.

Installation

Thermaltake included their new UX200 SE single tower air cooler and the Toughpower GF1 Snow 750W PSU. We will utilize these components in the build!

The cooler held up well for a single tower cooler. It does feature unconventional mounting bracket. It is toolless. You don’t need a screwdriver to install it. The only downside, it features the push down hook system that I am personally not a fan of. It can be difficult to get both sides to grab the mounting bracket clips. I struggled a little anyways. The price for this cooler is a very competitive 29.99 on Amazon. The power supply can be found on Amazon for 104.99.

Finished Looks

Now, Let’s move on the conclusion of the review!
