In Win 805 Infinity Mid-Tower Chassis Review

The Exterior

The exterior of the In Win 805 Infinity is very sleek and looks aesthetically pleasing. Both sides of the chassis is made from 3mm tempered glass, which is secured by 4 easy to remove thumb screws at each corner. Before mounting any PC components, I recommend taking extra care when removing the tempered glass sides.

The build quality is very good. Smooth edges all round and everything feels solid. The body frame of the chassis is made from Aluminum which makes it pretty light-weight, while the top of the chassis and front panel has a brushed Aluminum effect.

At the bottom of the chassis, there is a rather unique dust guard with magnetic feet, which allows for easy removal and re-attachment. The front panel contains all your usual connectors, including 2 x USB 2.0, mic-in, line-out, 1 x USB 3.0 and interestingly 1 x USB 3.1 (Type-C), which is an added bonus. On the far right, you’ll find the HDD activity and power-on LEDs, as well as the power button.

The Interior

The interior of the 805 Infinity looks very spacious. You can fit various types of motherboard including a full-size ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX. For larger E-ATX motherboards, I would recommend a full tower chassis instead. The 805 Infinity is a midi tower after all.

The 805 Infinity features a screwless design for mounting hard drives via a bracket that holds 2 x 3.5″ trays. This whole bracket can be positioned at the bottom, middle or at the top for versatility.

For cooling, In Win has included 1 x 120mm at the rear. There is also a bracket at the front of the chassis with room for 2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans. Alternatively, you can use this space for your own watercooling solution allowing you mount a 240mm radiator. Additionally, you can also mount up to 2 x 120mm fans on the bottom of the chassis.

This front bracket features a nice In Win logo which lights up when connected to the motherboard.
