Enermax AQUAFUSION 360 CPU Liquid Cooler Review

Closer Look, Specification and Product Photos

The AQUAFUSION 360 is compatible with all modern CPU sockets, except the sTR4. For the Threadripper series processors, there are other coolers in the Enermax offer.

The radiator is made of aluminum, while the cooler base is made of copper. This combination helps to transfer heat into the ambient and is pretty much the best combo on the current market.

Let’s take a look at the package and its contents.

Package and its contents

The AQUAFUSION cooler comes in quite a large box. It’s a cooler with a 360mm radiator, so we were expecting that. If you decide on this type of cooling, you have to check if your PC case has enough space. The AQUAFUSION is also available with smaller radiators, so we can always pick the one with a 120 or 240mm radiator if we don’t have enough space for the 360 version. Smaller versions are also available in white, while the 360 comes only in black. I guess that Enermax will release a white version in some time as white SquA fans are already available as a separate product.

As usual, Enermax put full specifications on the exterior of the package. There are also additional features that make this product quite unique.

Everything is well protected for the time of transport. Inside the box, we will also find everything required for installation. Besides the cooler, there are mounting kits for modern AMD and Intel processors, excluding the Threadripper for which is dedicated TR4 series of coolers with a larger base plate.

The AQUAFUSION is equipped with three 120mm SquA fans, which I already mentioned. These fans offer high air pressure, so they are perfect for water cooling. Additional advantage makes a wide range of speed, between 500 and 2000 RPM. I recommend setting a fan curve in the motherboard BIOS or software, so fans won’t run at their full speed as they are quite noisy. The noise, in general, is still significantly lower than that of competitive fans at the same speed. Also, at low fan speed, they’re simply silent. There is no annoying clicking or tearing sound which appears in lower series fans or even those which we can compare at a price like Coolermaster series. Being honest, I’m so satisfied with these fans that I’m using six of them in my daily gaming PC.

An additional feature of the SquA fans is their RGB lighting. These fans are unique. There are no other brands that decided to install LEDs in this way what gives exceptional effects, especially when more fans are in use.

The AQUAFUSION 360 is full black. One of the advantages of this color is that when we use LED lighting, then the cooler stays in the background, and we can focus on the lighting effects. Worse is that we will faster see the dust in the daylight.

Copper base maybe doesn’t have a mirror finish but is well polished and flat. Actually, it looks really well comparing to many competitive coolers. Even though I have similar conclusions during each Enermax cooler review, then I clearly see improvements in every new generation of coolers. All Enermax liquid coolers are always well-designed, and about the best, we can get at the time when they’re released.

The above photos are showing how exceptional looking in the cooler. It should satisfy all gamers and computer enthusiasts who don’t really want to waste time and additional money on custom water cooling.

On the next page of this review, we will take a closer look at the performance, and I also tell you some more about the cooler’s features.
