Enermax LIQTECH II 360 White CPU Cooler Review

Closer Look, Specification and Product Photos

The LIQTECH II 360 is compatible with most modern CPU sockets, except the sTR4. For the Threadripper series processors, there are other coolers in Enermax offer.

The radiator is made of aluminum while the cooler base is made of copper. This combination helps to transfer heat into the ambient.

Above table includes full specification. Part of that is clear while part I will describe on the next pages of this review.

Let’s take a look at the package and its contents.

The Liqtech II comes in a quite large box. It’s a cooler with 360mm radiator so we were expecting that. Deciding on this type of cooling you have to check if your PC case has enough space. If not then Enermax has in its offer interesting options which will work perfectly with the Liqtech II.

As usual, Enermax put full specification on the exterior of the package. There are also additional features which make this product quite unique.

Everything is well protected for the time of transport. Inside the box, we will also find everything required for installation. Besides the cooler, there are mounting kits for modern AMD and Intel processors excluding the Threadripper for which is dedicated TR4 series of coolers with a larger base plate.

The Liqtech II is equipped with three 120mm fans from high-pressure series. Their rated speed is between 500 and 2300 RPM. Even though these fans are not loud then we will clearly hear anything above 1500 RPM. If you care about the noise then just be sure to set quiet or balanced mode in motherboard’s BIOS. The cooler will still offer great performance and will be really quiet.

Liqtech II is available in the popular black version and what’s new, also in white which is even labeled as Special Edition. There are not many while liquid coolers on the market so it’s in fact special.

Reviewed version of Liqtech cooler has RGB lighting. It’s possible to use Enermax controller or simply use RGB connector on our motherboard. The Liqtech II is compatible with most motherboard brands like ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI but will also work on other brands as long as they use standard RGB connector. Everything works great on tested by us ASUS and ASRock motherboards.

Copper base maybe doesn’t have mirror finish but is well polished and flat. Actually, it looks really well comparing to most other coolers.

As you can see on the photos, the cooler looks exceptional and even better installed in the PC case (photos on the next page).

Most users who pick coolers with 360mm radiators care about silence and high performance. Let’s move to the next page to find out what performance offers the Liqtech II.
