Gigabyte Aorus Liquid Cooler 240 Review

Conclusion and Verdict

In conclusion the Gigabyte Aorus Liquid Cooler 240 is a solid performing AIO. The cooler performs as well as expected and the LCD screen is awesome! The biggest thing with the AIO are possible leaks. The hoses are exceptional quality and the construction passes the eye test. I played around with the screen for way too long. I tried tons of pictures and every single one was clear and made me smile every time. The colors from the pump are crisp and bright. I was impressed with the ease of the install and performance. The performance may not be at the top of the ones I have tested to date but the temps are pretty close and this will definitely offer a better solution than most air coolers. The only thing I found odd was the fan dimensions. As you saw in the pics earlier in the review. The fans are not symmetrical. The screws penetrate farther on two of the corners than the other. That’s the reason I used spacers. I know the wont interfere with the fluid part of the radiator but I just didn’t want to chance it. You have two options, do what I did with the spacers or hack a couple of mm off the screws. No big issue just would of liked to of seen shorter screws included for the small part of the fan.

Water does have limits to the amount of heat that is transferable and I want to thank Gigabyte for developing something we can count on cooling our rig. We cant argue with the results as this cooler was able to keep our chip nice and cool. Plus the style points are definitely 10/10 with the RGB fans and the LCD screen! The pics on the screen really are amazing.

The price is obviously high for a 240mm AIO but I assume you are paying for the LCD screen. So if you have some extra dough burning a hole in your pocket. Why not spend it on some serious style.
