Raijintek SCYLLA PRO DIY Water Cooling Kit Review

Package and its contents – Part 2: Radiator, Fans, Fittings, Tubes

The SCYLLA PRO CA240 has a CALORE ELITE 240mm radiator. The radiator is 273mm long and 27mm thick. It should fit nearly every PC. More space demanding is the reservoir presented on the last page.

The 240mm radiator seems not much for a modern, high-end CPU, and I bet that other users have similar thoughts, so we decided to switch it with the CALORE C360D – 360mm and

65mm thick radiator. This radiator is already challenging for installation in most PC cases. Even if there is a place for a 360mm radiator, then the thickness causes we may have problems with a graphics card or other components. I recommend planning everything and measuring twice. Raijintek has some large PC cases, and one of them has been used for our build – PAEAN Premium.

In the SCYLLA kit, we will find EOS 12 RBW ADD fans. The CA240 has two of these fans; the CA360 will have three. For our build, we used some more, with a total of ten fans.

Every fan kit has a remote control and RGB+fan controller.

In the kit, there are two fitting sets. Each one has six fittings. I feel like it’s not enough for a typical PC case. We will have to bend one of two tubes or buy additional fittings. Our large build required an additional set of 90° fittings, and it’s not even the most complicated design.

In the box, there is also a package of PETG tubes. There are four 500mm tubes which is just right for a large build like ours.
