REEVEN NAIA 240 AIO Liquid Cooling and KIRAN 120mm Fans Review

Performance

Performance has been tested on Intel Kaby Lake platform which contains the i7-7700K processor and Supermicro C7Z270-GC motherboard. In use were also Ballistix Elite 2x16GB DDR4-3000 memory modules and Crucial BX300 480GB SSD on which we installed Win10 Pro.

Tests as usual contain three stages. Idle is clear but I will only add there are always some services running in the background. Mixed load was based on the PCMark8 which is performing various tests close to daily workload in home and office environment. Maximum temperature is what we could see during AIDA64 CPU/FPU stability test.

As I mentioned earlier, all tests were performed on the KIRAN fans which are offering the same performance as fans which come with the NAIA cooler. The KIRAN spins a bit slower but it doesn’t affect overall performance of the cooler.

REEVEN NAIA performs great and this is what we were expecting to see. Results are about the same as on Enermax or CRYORIG coolers. All these coolers received Recommended Award because of high performance and high quality so we are glad to see that also REEVEN NAIA is on the top of the list with the test results. There are better performing coolers but everything what performs better also has larger radiator and fans and costs more.

Tests were performed at auto settings regarding fan speed. Average at maximum load was about 1400 RPM so there is still some headroom. After overclocking, what includes CPU overvoltage, we could see above 1500 RPM at which fans were still not so loud. At least comparing to some other brands we could say that are even quiet. Values in dB are not really telling all about fan noise as there are additional sounds caused by airflow. In this case we haven’t heard anything additional what would be annoying. In a closed PC case it will be perfect.

Next thing is that pump is nearly silent regardless how it’s installed. Nickel-plated base has designed to work in any orientation. Also pump is designed to work whatever you wish it to work and is not causing additional noise because of bubbles in the loop or anything else.

We could say that REEVEN NAIA is one more high quality AIO 240 water cooling but it has couple of features which are not available in other brands and what is hard to miss, lighting looks great. When we add the KIRAN fans then we get great performing and great looking cooler.
