Closer Look / Product Photos

Scythe Fuma 2 arrived in a small box. It’s a typical package for most Scythe coolers and also some other brands. Exterior will tell us about everything about the product inside as there are printed detailed specifications and key features.

The cooler has a total height of 154.5mm. We can install it without issues in most desktop computers as the most popular PC cases support up to 155-160mm coolers.

The Fuma 2 is a twin-tower cooler but is not really large and is well-designed to offer optimal performance in even smaller PC. We can use any tall memory modules, and we can install it on even the smallest mini ITX motherboards.

The heatsink has an asymmetric design which helps with the installation of various components. Installation of the Fuma 2 is simple and shouldn’t cause any issues to even less advanced users. All steps are well described in the multi-lingual manual. In the package is also everything required for installation, even the screwdriver.

The base of the cooler is made of nickel-plated copper. There are six heat pipes which are covering the whole cold plate. The base itself is well polished to nearly a mirror effect.

The Fuma 2 is equipped with two Kaze series fans. These fans have no RGB LEDs, but it’s not required for most users. Important is that these fans are really quiet and offer high air pressure so are perfect for high-density heatsinks.

Above are pictures which are presenting how well Fuma 2 fits our test motherboard and how it performs, you can find out on the next page of this review.
