SilverStone’s TD02-Lite, a 240mm Liquid Cooler Review

A Closer Look

The TD02-Lite seems to be built very well and would look great in any tower! Especially since the color of this liquid cooler is mostly black. The only other color associated with this cooler is a silver SilverStone logo and the 100% copper plate. This liquid cooler’s radiator has a different design to the fins that I have never came across before. Instead of straight fins, the TD02 looks to have more of a zig zag design. With the radiator only being 27mm thick, this cooler should fit inside most gaming towers. SilverStone sends two 120mm fans that are used to help keep the radiator cooled off. Both fans are black in color with white fan blades.

The hoses connecting the radiator to the water block are also black. Each hose seem a little stiff, which may cause a little trouble installing the TD02. Both hoses are designed with a thick 12mm diameter braided rubber tubing. The hoses seem very sturdy and leak-proof.  The heat sink seemed to be perfect and has 100% copper base. I did not notice any scratches or warping on the plate. Another feature associated with the gold plate is the 0.2mm micro channels, which should help with the cooling performance. Attached to the water block is a PWM cable for a LED light that surrounds SilverStone’s logo on the water block.

Well that’s about it, lets see how this baby performs!
