Thermaltake Pacific W4 RGB CPU Water Block Review

Box and Packaging

The package is nicely presented and comes with all the correct mounts, fittings and screws. You also get a small tube of thermal paste, as well as the RGB controller which is powered by a 4-pin molex.

A Closer Look

Upon closer examination, I can see the build quality and construction is very good, although you don’t see much of the water block itself.  That’s because the top of the water block is covered by a large PMMA cover that houses the LED lighting. Only the edge of the PMMA is exposed, giving you a “ring effect” when the water blocked is powered up.

The copper base design and the anti-corrosive nickel plating should give us some good results in terms of cooling performance. Just like its predecessor, you can see the 0.15mm micro-channel fins inside the Thermaltake Pacific W4 RGB CPU water block … if you look close enough.
