Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fan Review (3 Pack)

This one of the most interesting product I’ve seen in quite a while. It’s a cooling fan that offers interchangeable fan blades allowing you to REVERSE the airflow! Yes, that’s right you heard me … a fan that REVERSES the airflow from the normal “push-pull” configuration to a “pull-push” configuration using reverse fan blades. It’s time to meet the Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fan.

This product came about after many years of users, wondering how to implement a reverse “pull-push” configuration for the cooling fans, without making it look odd or ugly on their chassis and radiators.  Don’t get me wong, this reverse “pull-push” configuration can be done easily, however it just means that the motor side of the fan (with the grille) is pretty prominent and makes the fan look out of place within the system.

The Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fan takes care of this issue by allowing users to swap out the normal “push-pull” fan blade, with a reverse “pull-push” fan blade! The motor still spins the same direction, but the airflow is reversed.  Why didn’t anyone think of this! Really?

I’m sure many of you already know who Thermaltake is but in case you don’t here’s some info on the company.

Our Mission – Delivering the perfect user experience

Every myth starts out as a dream, and at the beginning of every legend is a desire. The challenging, creative and competitive features of the Thermaltake Group offer an exciting and fascinating user experience that can be shared by everyone, while allowing users to transcend themselves in terms of function and potential.

Thermaltake Group’s three main brands—Thermaltake, Tt eSPORTS and LUXA2—have been merchandising high-quality products throughout the world, successfully establishing firm footholds in six major markets, including Europe, America, Oceania, Japan and China, with 95 regional distributors and more than 4,000 premium retailers.

All product planning is governed by close observation of the global PC peripheral market, and by keen understanding of consumer demands. Thermaltake creates direct contact opportunities with resellers and consumers by participating in major global ICT exhibitions and trade shows every year, and by developing innovative marketing strategies for the promotion of new products. Meanwhile, Thermaltake has incorporated a composite marketing system by making branch offices and regional distributors both the distribution channel and the technical support or service center, thereby providing customers access to instant support. By maintaining close contact with end users, we have managed to strengthen our corporate competitiveness and create momentum for the kind of growth that generates major accomplishments.

We’ll be mounting these Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fans to the ToughLiquid Ultra 360 AIO cooler to see how they look. What will be interesting to know … is whether that reverse fan blades with its “pull-push” configuration can offer enough cooling performance over the standard “push-pull” configuration.

You can buy the Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fan (3 Pack) for around USD $119.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3M8OEXh

Too expensive for a fan and they use proprietary connectors so they can be a pain if you want to use them as a case fan.

That’s true … they are expensive, but they do look good though 😍
