Watercool HEATKILLER IV PRO CU-NI CPU Waterblock Review

Conclusion and Verdict

The Heatkiller IV is the best looking CPU water block which I had a chance to test. It doesn’t have any lighting or RGB LEDs which are flooding the market recently and it’s probably an advantage as it looks professional. Simply something what looks great with expensive computer components. It perfectly matches all high-end motherboard color schemes like our ASUS X299 TUF.

Performance of the Heatkiller is exceptional. We had no chance to compare it to other coolers but based on wattage measurement I can say it does a great job. 300W constant load was not big problem. Probably temperature can be lowered some more by replacing other cooling kit components but I’m not expecting to see that any competitive product will beat the Heatkiller.

Right now the HEATKILLER IV PRO costs 84.95 in Watercool online store. Let’s say it’s not cheap but really reasonable price considering high quality and high performance. Clearly one of the best options if you are looking for the best water block for your CPU.

Pros:

  • High performance
  • Unique design
  • Top quality
  • Easy installation
  • Nickel-plated
  • Compatible with nearly all modern desktop platforms

Cons:

  • If there is nothing else to add then I can say that so high quality product could have better package

Final words:

I had a lot of fun testing Watercool Heatkiller IV. It’s great looking and well performing water block which should satisfy every computer enthusiast and gamer.

The Heatkiller IV deserves FunkyKit’s Editor’s Choice Award and I can recommend it without any hesitation as a top pick if you are looking for the best cooling for your CPU.
