Package and its Contents
Predator Vesta memory arrived in a retail package which is a bit larger than the typical flat box of most other brands. The package is well described with all the features and main specifications. There is also info about supported RGB technologies and various safety certificates.
The package itself is not much different than that of the previously reviewed Predator Apollo memory kit. In both cases, it points out high quality of the product.
Inside each box, we will find two 16GB memory modules rated at DDR4-3600 CL14-15-15 1.45V. This is about the best specifications that we can find on the market at DDR4-3600, especially for dual-rank modules. Dual-rank design in some cases may improve the performance. In other will perform the same as single-rank (popular 8GB memory modules are only single-rank).
Memory modules are well protected by a plastic blister and additional foam in the box. The modules are quite tall but the additional height should help in cooling. Most CPU cooler manufacturers already took care of the possible incompatibility and most new cooling solutions are asymmetric or are simply low profile so won’t interfere in any way.
Memory modules look great with or without the RGB illumination. Of course, with the RGB lighting, they look better. The RGB is supported by all popular motherboard brands and can be fully synchronized. In the attached photos you can see some effects on the MSI motherboard.
