Package and its Contents
The Ballistix MAX 32GB DDR4-4400 arrived in retail packaging, which is a small, flat box. The box is well described, so we clearly know what is inside. Part of the package’s front is transparent so that we can see memory modules inside.
Our memory kit is designed for AMD and Intel platforms, but such high capacity will work only on the latest chipsets. I highly recommend Intel Z490, AMD X570, or AMD B550 motherboards for the best compatibility. Older motherboards will probably work, too, as long as the memory controller will be able to handle 16GB memory modules at DDR4-4400.
Inside the box, we will find two memory modules. The installation is straightforward, but we can always find support and manuals on the Crucial website.
The Ballistix MAX has a fresh and unique design. Our modules are whole black what perfectly fits black builds and other components like Noctua chromax.black coolers or MSI Unify motherboard series. There are, of course, many other products that look great with the Ballistix MAX. If we wish for additional RGB lighting, then the same memory modules are available under Ballistix MAX RGB naming.
Ballistix MAX, the same as the previous top series, so Ballistix Elite feels high-end. The product has its unique style and, at the same time, presets professionally. Many competitive gaming memory kits look like fragile toys, while the Ballistix delivers a solid design.
Below are two examples of how the Ballistix MAX looks like with popular CPU coolers. Even though heatsinks are taller than standard, all respectable CPU cooler manufacturers took care of that a long time ago. Even the NH-D15S cooler, which covers nearly the whole motherboard, leaves a lot of space for memory modules.
