HyperX Impact 32GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM Laptop Memory Review

Package and its Contents

HyperX Impact comes in a transparent box, which is typical for memory modules. We won’t find much info on the package, but there is everything we need, such as a general description of the memory kit and the manufacturer’s contact.

Inside the package, we will find two 16GB memory modules, a short user’s manual, and a sticker with the HyperX logo.

The installation is simple, and most uses won’t have any problems with that. Those who aren’t sure how to install the memory should check the user’s manual so they won’t damage anything. I assume that the biggest problem can be to open the laptop as most new series require to remove the whole cover.

The design of the Impact memory is not much different from standard SODIMM modules. It shares the same dimensions as it’s a requirement to fit all popular computers. However, there is also a special touch as modules are black with a black sticker and a shiny HyperX Impact sign. Most users won’t see it during work, but it still feels that our new RAM is a premium product.

Above are a couple of photos of the Impact memory installed in an ASUS TUF A15 laptop with Ryzen 7 4800H processor.

Let’s move to the next page to check some test results.
