Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB DDR4-3000 Memory Kit Review

Overclocking

Overclocking is never guaranteed so the presented results may vary from results on other memory kits. I am not recommending overclocking if you do not know what are you doing. High voltages may damage hardware and it will not be covered by warranty.

Tested memory kit was able to run stable at DDR4-3333 and 15-17-17-36 main timings so about the same timings as we can find in XMP profile. At the same time voltage had to be slightly higher – 1.37V in BIOS/UEFI. Below you can see screenshot of mentioned result.

Memory could boot at DDR4-3400 but couldn’t run stable even at more relaxed timings or higher voltage. We haven’t been checking voltage above 1.5V. It would probably help but is not recommended to use for longer.

Overclocking result isn’t the highest but is pretty respectable considering that declared settings are DDR4-3000 15-17-17 1.35V, Free 300MHz are always good!
