Memory chips are rebranded (Patriot logo), so it’s hard to tell what IC was used only by looking at them. However, Thaiphoon Burner software is recognizing this IC as Hynix M-die what matches timing scaling and is similar to what we could see on the desktop memory with Hynix M-die.

Since most laptops won’t use XMP profiles, then it’s clear that memory profile is limited to settings programmed in SPD. The tested memory has one SPD profile which works fully stable at DDR4-3200 CL22-22-22-52. It doesn’t seem fast, but we have to remember that we are limited to 1.20V memory voltage, which makes everything much harder. I will tell you some more about memory timings later. Right now, let’s focus on the stability at rated speed.

Below is a screenshot from AIDA64 stability tests, which shows there are no problems with our memory modules.

CPU-Z SPD window is usually showing wrong memory profiles, but the memory tab is correct.
