Overclocking
I could add this photo to earlier paragraph but I saved it for overclocking part. Here is what you can find under the heatspreader.
Hynix H5TQ4G83MFR-PBC. This number says us many things like maximum operating temperature for this memory is 0-85 °C or that absolute maximum voltage is 1.975V. It’s more than can even be set on our Maximus V Gene motherboard.
Maximum stable settings achieved on our test rig are 2800 11-13-13-35 1N 1.73V. Memory clock could probably go higher but our 3770K’s memory controller can’t run higher keeping full stability.
At lower memory clock Xtreem 2666 was able to run at 2600 10-12-12-31 or 2400 10-11-11-31.
