ASUS has recently released an ultralight weight mouse. The TUF Gaming M4 Air Gaming Mouse. Like a couple I have covered in the past, the only way to achieve such a light weight is to minimize the content. This has been done by cutting out unnecessary internal components and the shell. Mostly the shell because that’s where most of the weight is anyways. We covered several in the past that had the design pattern of a honeycomb.
The M4 Air also has an open hole design but instead of a honeycomb look it has a triangle cutout design, that resembles the TUF branding look. I like the look to be honest. It’s a little different than what I have seen in person. I wonder where this lightweight design may eventually end up. Could we see logo’s, crazy custom designs? Who know but with CNC machines the possibilities are limitless. But for now, we are going to focus on what we have before us and check every aspect of the M4 on the next few pages.
