Cooler Master SK630 TKL Mechanical Keyboard Review

Cooler Master SK630 – A Closer LookThe first thing you will notice is the compact size and slim nature of the keyboard. The SK630 is tenkeyless, so accountants and number-crunchers need not apply. The brushed aluminum finish on the top plate is superb and the aesthetics are very pleasing. By the way, the SK630 is not wireless, it just has a removable cable. I absolutely love this feature and all keyboards should have the option in my humble opinion!

The SK630 is low-profile and the keys are closer to half-height size, not quite as short as you average keyboard on a laptop, which is nice. The keys have enough weight to give proper feedback. They really do feel like they are “floating”! The harmony here is pretty much perfect for a mechanical keyboard.

The SK630 also comes with a removable USB cable that is plugged into the port located at the rear of the keyboard. This, along with the carrying bag, makes transporting and protecting your keyboard a no-brainer! There are no height adjustments available, however, no one purchases a low-profile keyboard expecting that function.

Head on over to the next page as we talk about the software, performance, function and lighting of the SK630 keyboard!
