COUGAR 700K Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Finished Looks

The 700K Mechanical Gaming Keyboard from COUGAR has a pretty sweet look and feel to it; somewhere along the lines of rugged and futuristic, as was the case with their 700M Gaming Mouse.

The 700K is certainly aggressive aesthetically, while functioning exactly as designed. The lighting accents are subtle and help to add to the visual appeal. With the available lighting modes ranging from bright and brilliant to dim and subtle, pulsation, and oscillation during “sleep mode”; the 700K is as entertaining visually as it is to use. Pity that there is only one available backlight color.

Performance

While using the 700K, I was impressed by the comfort and quality construction. The shape is curvy and edgy all at the same time; and the design and layout is very well thought out. The button clicks are smooth and very precise. The clicks are also fairly quiet compared to other products on the market.

The swappable and adjustable palm rest are what really make this mouse stand out. I have never experienced the extra control offered by such customization. COUGAR did an incredible job here of finding that perfect balance, which some other keyboards out there in the market lack for sure. Job well done, COUGAR!

COUGAR is true to their word as this keyboard was definitely made for professional and hardcore gamers alike. Of all of the different games I spent time with, which was extensive, including FPS, MOBA, MMO, RTS; I experienced zero hand fatigue including during the typing of this extensive and thorough review.

And there we have it readers, an epic keyboard offering from COUGAR! Let us review some points and final thoughts in the conclusion of our review.
