Thanks to the good guys at G.Skill, we’ll be taking a look at the G.Skill RIPJAWS KM780 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. Does anyone really know what RGB means? Yes, that’s right … it stands for RED, GREEN, BLUE! Well, RGB products basically light up in various colors (some featuring up to 16 million colors!) when you switch them on, or when you plug them into your PC. These products are generally designed and aimed at the gamers, giving them a more immersive gaming experience. Over the past year, I’ve noticed that this trend is ever increasing, so it’s not surprising to see a lot of manufacturers wanting to capitalize on this trend, including G.Skill. The RIPJAWS KM780 RGB is our first mechanical gaming keyboard we’ve reviewed from G.Skill. It’s built around an aluminum plate that’s made premium brushed anodized, military-grade aluminum for maximum durability. What’s more, it features independent per-key back-lighting in full 16.8 million colors with many lighting patterns options. This thing is lights up like a Christmas tree! To add to this, you get 6 macro keys, anti-ghosting feature, line-out, mic-in, USB pass-through, gaming kepcaps, and the list goes on … it’s definitely one of most feature-packed gaming keyboard I’ve ever come across.
